The Edith Stein Archive is an international research institute that provides an important collection of materials related to Edith Stein and her legacy. Researchers from around the world – including the USA, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, France, Italy, Poland, and many other countries – utilize our archive for their academic work. We are proud not only to serve as a place of research but also as a space for lively encounters, where people from various disciplines engage in dialogue.

In addition to scientific work, we aim to make the Edith Stein Archive a center for interdisciplinary exchange, where topics from society, culture, and religion are actively discussed. Through events, publications, and online projects, we provide a space for dialogue about Edith Stein’s work and the major issues of her time, as well as those of today.

Our activities include ongoing research, the provision of resources and materials, the digitization of historical documents and photographs, and the organization of events, both on-site and online. These events not only promote engagement with Edith Stein's legacy but also encourage the exchange of ideas on current social and cultural issues.

In addition to providing resources for research, we also cover ongoing costs, including administrative expenses, the procurement of new literature and materials, as well as the ongoing maintenance and expansion of our collection. We invest in the digitization of documents and photos, the preservation of original materials, and the development of new academic projects. Moreover, we support events and publications that contribute to the exploration of Edith Stein's work and its relevance for the present.
